Frequently asked questions from iris photographers
Answers on technology, billing and access. Further detail lives on the features, quality and pricing pages.
- What does the AI do during iris processing?
- The AI handles the technical groundwork: cutting out, aligning and working out the iris structure up to a print-ready file. The creative decision and the fine tuning stay with you.
- Does the real iris remain the basis?
- Yes. Your own studio capture is always the basis. No foreign eye is inserted.
- Why do the results look dimensional?
- Fibres, crypts, pigment structures and colour gradients are worked out separately instead of simply sharpening the image. That creates visible depth instead of flat standard processing.
- Is every iris artwork individual?
- Every art style is generated anew from the irises actually used. No fixed template is laid over the client image, so results differ from project to project.
- Do I need Photoshop?
- No. Upload, processing, editor and export all run in the studio area in your browser.
- What resolution do I receive?
- Every finished iris is exported at 4096 × 4096 pixels and 300 dpi – at no extra cost.
- What happens if processing fails?
- If a run fails technically, no credit is charged and the reservation is released in full. You can process the iris again.
- What does one iris cost?
- Billing works with credits: one credit per successfully processed iris, from €1.30 net in the largest package. An art style costs an additional €0.50 net.
- Is there a subscription or minimum spend?
- No. There is no subscription, no base fee and no minimum spend. Purchased credits never expire.
- How long does processing take?
- The AI processing usually takes well under two minutes. The purely local finalisation to 4K follows and causes no further cost.
- Can I process several images at once?
- Yes. Within a project you can upload several captures and process them as a batch.
- Who may use IRISORA Studio?
- The offer is aimed exclusively at entrepreneurs within the meaning of § 14 German Civil Code. Access is granted after a review.
- What happens to my clients' images?
- Uploads and results live in a protected area with separate access per studio. A data processing agreement is available for the processing.
- How do I get started?
- You request studio access. Once approved you can buy credits and process your first own captures.
